We’re hiring Full-stack Engineers for our Industrial department in Cluj-Napoca.

 
We are the expert for implementing and improving digital exchange processes in industrial applications – on the field level and between production and IT.

 
In this dawning age of Industry 4.0 and the “Industrial Internet of Things” (IoT), efficient and reliable digital communication is the prerequisite for the integrated production of the future, which will involve networked systems across different sites and a continuous need to optimize equipment and production processes.

Based on our expertise with customer-specific solutions and the development of standard platforms, we have positioned ourselves as a product leader for the integration of devices, controls, machines and networks in higher-level systems.

 
We are a strategic partner to the industrial automation sector, with more than 35 years of experience in the areas of field buses and Industrial Ethernet. With our comprehensive technological knowledge and deep understanding of technical production requirements, we understand the needs of our industrial customers and speak their language.

Main responsibilities:

• You will join a team of strong software engineers that lead full-cycle development of middleware solutions that are enabling I4.0 for a wide range of industries we serve. 
• This includes highly reliable and scalable communication services which connect the enterprise's IT and OT(Operational Technolgy) areas, cloud with on-premise systems.
• You will be part of devising the new generation of hybrid distributed solutions (on-premise/cloud) for communication networks monitoring, health check and diagnostics.

 
In this position you will be responsible for the design and development of both the front-end and back-end sides of the software web applications, from prototyping the UI to achieve a functional and professional look and feel, down to structuring the application program logic and storage, combining successfully a multitude of technologies and programming languages with a can-do attitude in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 
Area of responsibility:

• Development of distributed web applications 
• Manage Full Life-Cycle Software Development
• Perform technical reviews and testing
• CI/CD
• Facilitate technical collaboration

Necessary skills:

• Website content styling and design
• Back-end programming (Python)
• Front-end programming (React, Redux, JS, HTML5, CSS)
• Team-based version control systems (GIT, Gitlab)
• Databases (SQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch)
• Communication services (REST, MQTT)
• Virtualization
• Containers and modern distributes application deployment
• Advanced level of English (both reading and writing)
• Good communication skills
