About the job
We are looking for a QA Manual Tester to join a long standing client project building a mobile application used by door to door sales teams across Europe.
This is a high impact product with real users in the field every single day. If something breaks, someone is probably standing at a customer’s front door. No pressure.
The ideal candidate brings strong hands on manual testing experience, excellent attention to detail, and 5 years of experience in QA working on production applications.
If you also have exposure to test automation, great. It is a plus. But this role is primarily focused on manual testing excellence, as we do not currently have automation processes in place.

About the Role
As a QA Manual Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a mobile first application used at scale across multiple European markets.
You will not just execute test cases. You will think critically, challenge assumptions, identify risks early, and help the team improve how quality is approached across the product lifecycle.
This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, works closely with developers and stakeholders, and genuinely cares about shipping stable products that people depend on every day.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform end to end manual testing across mobile and web application flows.
• Create, maintain, and improve clear test scenarios, test cases, and regression coverage.
• Identify bugs, inconsistencies, and edge cases before they reach production.
• Work closely with developers, product people, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and reduce ambiguity.
• Take ownership of the QA process and help the team improve quality standards and release confidence.
• Validate fixes, perform regression testing, and ensure a smooth user experience across releases.
• Contribute to a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Bring structured thinking to testing, and if you have automation knowledge, help identify future opportunities for it pragmatically.

Requirements
• 5 years of experience in software testing / QA, with strong manual testing experience.
• Proven experience testing mobile and/or web applications in production environments.
• Strong understanding of test planning, regression testing, exploratory testing, and bug reporting.
• Ability to think critically about user flows, edge cases, and real world usage scenarios.
• Experience working closely with developers, product managers, and non technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in raising issues constructively.
• High attention to detail and a proactive ownership mindset.
• Comfortable working in a fast moving environment where quality matters and people rely on your judgment.

Nice to Have
• Exposure to automation tools or automated testing concepts.
• Experience testing React Native or mobile first products.
• Familiarity with API testing tools and debugging workflows.
• Experience in agile product teams with frequent releases.
• Interest in AI tools and modern ways of improving team productivity.
