We are looking for a Mid/Senior QA Engineer to own product quality across the company's suite. This role will combine strong manual testing expertise with responsibility for maintaining and extending our automation suites.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, quality-focused engineer who enjoys hands-on testing, collaborating closely with developers and product, and improving testing practices. While automation experience is valuable, this role will primarily focus on manual functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
Core Responsibilities
Manual Testing (approx. 70%)
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• Validate new product features and enhancements across web UI and APIs
• Perform end-to-end workflow testing across the company's product suite
• Investigate, document, and escalate defects using structured reporting
• Participate in sprint planning, story refinement, and requirements validation
• Contribute to and maintain test plans, test cases, and documentation
Automation & Quality Enablement (approx. 30%)
• Maintain and enhance existing automation suites:
• API tests in .NET/C#
• UI/integration tests using Playwright (TypeScript)
• Write new automated tests where they provide value and reduce regression cycles
• Help ensure automation runs via CI processes and triage failures
• Support evolution of QA tooling, workflows, and best practices
Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of QA engineering experience (5+ for Senior)
• Strong manual QA skills across web and API-driven systems
• Proficiency in writing clear, structured test cases and defect reports
• Experience with C#/.NET and UI/API automation frameworks (Playwright cu TypeScript preferred)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and test tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.)
• Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
Nice-to-Have
• Experience testing cloud / SaaS environments (Azure preferred)
• Basic SQL or data validation skills
• Experience with virtualization / application packaging tech
• Performance or load testing exposure
